Welcome to My Practice

I am not, by nature, a pushy person! Quite the opposite! In fact, I, like many of you, have gone to an ‘alternative’ practitioner and have had a “hard-sell” experience. I have been told that I need all kinds of products & services that are very expensive and only available from that person. I have wondered if I needed any of it, or if the person needed to pay their rent! Just saying, I have wondered…

Anyway, because I am afraid that you are probably thinking we are all the same that way, I have neglected to really educate you about what TCM, or I, can do for you!
I know you can get very good care at most other offices. I am also here to tell you, and teach you, that Chinese herbs are available many places, not just through me, or my colleagues. I am all about sharing what I know so you can treat yourself when at all possible.

What can acupuncture do for you, or ‘help me help you’ to coin a phrase from the movie “Jerry Maguire.”

Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM, is a powerful and ancient form of medicine that can treat a wide variety of conditions using acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional counseling.

While you may be coming in for one specific thing, you may not know that TCM might work for other symptoms too. The World Health Organization recognizes acupuncture’s effectiveness for over 40 common disorders! I am talking scientifically effective, decades of research, by the way.

Please print this and circle any of the symptoms you may be experiencing, or have in the past. Or ask me how I can help with them.

Or, just feeling a bit ‘off,’ or ‘not myself,’ or would just like a massage! (I do acupuncture combined with massage—an amazing combination to help relieve stress or soothe sore muscles!)

So, feel free to ask me how I can help you or your family!

Another idea to ponder…

If I don’t help you in at least 2-3 sessions to even start to feel better (that’s how we will know it’s working—even a tiny improvement, even if it doesn’t last. I do expect to see something.) Then, please try someone else!

Give TCM a fair try. If you went to an M.D. and didn’t get results, would you say that western medicine just doesn’t work? Probably not! You would likely try another doc. It is the same with acupuncturists, chiropractors and massage therapists. We are not all alike, right? So, please try someone else before you decide TCM isn’t for you!

TCM works about 85% of the time for most people for most conditions. Yes, it is possible that you are in the 15% that it isn’t effective for. In that case, let me suggest other modalities or practitioners that may be able to help you. You should not have to suffer. There is usually help for most conditions, especially if you are willing to work a little.
